W. KARL SMITH, Pastor:

Karl graduated from Bethel Theological Seminary (St. Paul, Minnesota).  He was ordained in 1981 after 3 years in missions (Pakistan) and 7 years in business.  He has lived in Beirut, Lebanon; Hong Kong; Pakistan; Zaire, Africa; and Tirana, Albania.  With his international living experience, he felt a call to English-speaking ministry in non English-speaking countries. 
He pastored churches in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and Kinshasa, Zaire, (presently the Congo) Africa, before coming to Guatemala City.  He started his ministry here in October, 1992 and is presently committed until the spring of 2005.
